All aspects of this bed were first designed using 3D software, which ensures that the overall design of the bed is sound and all safety issues are properly addressed. Plantation-grown furniture grade Pine for structural areas and MDF for cosmetic areas (white models only) are used in construction, making the bed extremely strong.
All Discovery World Furniture products come with comprehensive instructions that will have your new piece of furniture assembled with ease. Our products are shipped in as few pieces as possible allowing for simple installation right out of the box. All needed hardware is labeled and included in the instructions to help make assembly smooth, and straight forward.
Constructed from solid wood in structural areas and MDF in cosmetic areas. With an opaque finish, MDF is the required proper material to use on large surface areas and provides a smoother, more trouble free finish.
All Discovery World Furniture bunk beds are tested and certified to meet the ASTM 1427-07 regulations set forth by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The Twin Bookcase Daybed not only boasts a unique design but provides plenty of storage space! The bed offers two different under bed options; either six drawers or three drawers and a twin size trundle.

For any manufacturer, a quality White finish on solid wood is a complex and costly process. Discovery s White is a 6-step finish that is top-coated with a mild sheen. Solid wood is required to ensure structural integrity and safety; however, utilizing MDF in non-structural areas of the furniture allows for a more consistent finish. Having developed a cost-effective quality White finish, Discovery s White Collection is a true value. White remains a finicky finish for all manufacturers, Discovery included. Expect minor imperfections and understand that a perfect white finish on solid wood is not attainable.
